The Celebration Day for Girls workshop is a special experience designed to nurture understanding, connection and confidence as girls embark on the journey of puberty, especially their oncoming menstruation.
On Friday evening, we invite mothers to explore their own experiences of puberty and early menstruation. Through reflection and discussion, we consider how these experiences shape the way we support our daughters during this transformative time. This session provides a space for mothers to connect with one another and deepen their understanding of the journey ahead.
On Saturday morning, the daughters will join us for a nurturing and creative exploration of the menstrual cycle, body changes, and their unfolding journey into womanhood. Through engaging activities, storytelling, and shared wisdom, we create a positive and supportive space for them to connect with their bodies and each other. The morning session is for the girls alone, offering them the opportunity to explore, ask questions, and grow in confidence.
The mothers will join their daughters for the second part of the day. After a shared lunch, we will build on the morning’s insights, sharing stories of the women who came before us and embracing the timeless connection of this journey. It will be an experience that strengthens the mother-daughter bond.
