Join Claire and Maaike from the Flow and Grow Foundation for an open, light-hearted evening of conversation about periods — because the more we talk, the easier it gets!
As passionate menstruation advocates, Claire and Maaike believe that when we empower ourselves and our children with knowledge, we give them confidence, agency, and a more positive relationship with their bodies.
This workshop is about breaking the silence and shame that so often surrounds menstruation. Together, we’ll explore:
→ Why talking openly about periods matters
→ How to support our children (and ourselves!) with knowledge, confidence and ease
→ Practical tips for starting the conversation at home
→ Challenging menstrual stigma and myths
Research done in the UK shows that girls and teens want more regular, honest and open conversations about their periods — not just a one-off “talk”. They want ongoing guidance, normalisation and reassurance.
This evening is for anyone wanting to feel more confident and comfortable talking about periods — whether for themselves, their children, or within their communities. And it’s definitely not just for the girls!
Expect connection, myth-busting, useful information — and maybe even a laugh or two along the way.
Contact Maaike 072 683 5648 or Claire 072 428 0309 to reserve your seat.
